The proud owner of both dogs, Teresa Patterson from Yorkshire, UK, has said she was unaware of this unusual romance until the puppies were born. She did not even know that Zara was pregnant!
Teresa said: "I was completely shocked, I didn’t think nature would let this happen but at some point it did. The puppies have a lovely temperament like their parents. They are high maintenance and they want attention all the time."

She went on to say: "One of the puppies, Sparkie, which our son is adopting, follows me everywhere I go from the first moment I'm out of bed." But another litter from this duo won’t be happening again – Joey will be going to the vets soon.
Though neutering awaits Joey in the not-so-distant future, you can't neuter love. The bond between Zara and Joey is undeniable. Just look at the love on both of their faces. Despite their differences, these two are an inseparable pair that overcame obstacles to be together.
While Teresa is happy about Joey and Zara's little brood of uniquely adorable puppies, she's glad that the cute couple will be able to enjoy their relationship going forward without the stresses of raising even more children!
